What can I expect at my photo-shoot?

A lot of fun! Acadian Imaging knows that your best portrait will come from a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. You can expect a professional approach. However, don’t expect the ordinary! While we will be taking some more traditional “poses” most images won’t be over-formulated and will have a more organic, or candid, feel. Acadian Imaging is here to capture you. So, you should expect your photo-shoot and final product to be as unique as you are!

What should I wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in. No, really! If you aren’t comfortable in what you’re wearing, it will come across in your portrait. So, go ahead and wear those favorite pair of jeans and throw back jersey. With that said, having options is always a good idea. Bring a couple of different styles of shirts or outfits for a couple of different styles of portraits. Wear whatever you want to convey in your portrait. I would shy away from fabrics with large prints or patterns (these tend to be distracting). Also, shorter shorts and skirts tend to limit your “poses” so I would stay away from those as well.

How long before I will be able to see my proofs?

Usually three to five days after your shoot, Acadian Imaging will send you an email with your link to your private online gallery.

How long after I place my order can I expect to get my prints?

Once your order has been placed you can expect your prints in about one to two weeks. If prints are needed sooner than that and it has been discussed prior to your order, Acadian Imaging can rush the turn around for an additional charge.

When do I get to pay you for your services?

So glad you asked! Acadian Imaging will want the sitting fee paid in full at the time of the shoot. Once your order is made, an estimate will be sent via email for the cost of your prints. Then, once you have your prints, and we are sure you are happy with them you can write us a second check for the amount discussed. You will also receive a printed receipt for all services along with your portraits.
